Quick Turn + Low Cost – The Best of Both Worlds

Many PCB manufacturers force you to choose:

Trade-offTypical Outcome
Quick turn = expensivePay 2-3x for faster delivery
Low cost = slowWait 3-4 weeks for budget pricing

We offer both: Quick turn and low cost.

Service LevelTurnaroundCost Level

New to custom PCB fabrication? Start with a small prototype order (5-10 pieces) to validate our quality before scaling up.

Q1: Why should I use the same supplier for prototype and mass production?

A:

ReasonBenefit
No re-qualificationYou already know our quality
No file transferWe keep your design files
No new toolingPanelization and fixtures already set up
Consistent qualitySame processes, same result
Faster production lead timeTooling ready – no setup delays
Single point of contactSame team, same communication

Switching suppliers adds risk, delay, and cost. Why do it?

Q2: Can you handle small prototype quantities (5-10 pieces)?

A: Yes – we specialize in prototypes.

QuantityWe Accept
5-20 piecesYes – prototype pricing
21-100 piecesYes
101-500 piecesYes
501+ piecesYes – production pricing

No MOQ for prototypes. Order exactly what you need for validation.

Q3: Will my per-board cost decrease when I move to mass production?

A: Yes – significantly.

StageQuantityPer-Board Cost
Prototype10 piecesHigher (fixed costs spread thin)
Pilot100 piecesModerate
Production1,000 piecesLower
Mass production10,000+ piecesLowest

Same supplier, same quality, lower price as you scale.

Q4: Do I need to requalify my design for mass production?

A: No – we use the same Gerber files and specifications.

StepAction
Prototype approvedDesign validated
Same files for productionNo changes – we use approved files
No re-engineeringTooling already set up
No re-qualification neededYou already know our quality

Seamless transition from prototype to production.

Q5: How do you ensure consistent quality across all volumes?

A:

Quality ElementApplied Equally to All Orders
ISO9001 processesYes – documented and audited
Incoming material inspectionYes – every batch
AOI (Automated Optical Inspection)Yes – every board
100% electrical testYes – every board
Final visual inspectionYes – every board
TraceabilityYes – lot-level tracking

Quality doesn’t depend on quantity. 10 pieces or 10,000 – same standards.

Q6: What if my prototype design changes before mass production?

A: No problem – we handle revisions.

SituationOur Process
Minor revision (same layer count, same stackup)Update Gerber files, new DFM review (free)
Major revision (different layer count or stackup)New stackup design, new quotation
No penalty for changesPay only for new boards

Designs evolve. We evolve with them.

Q7: Can you hold my tooling (panelization, test fixtures) for future production runs?

A: Yes – we keep your tooling on file.

Tooling ItemWe Keep For
Panelization layoutIndefinitely – for repeat orders
Drill filesIndefinitely
Test fixtures (flying probe)Indefinitely
Custom test fixturesIndefinitely (if customer paid)

No setup fees for repeat orders – tooling already exists.

Q8: What if I need to scale up quickly from pilot to mass production?

A: We have capacity for rapid scaling.

Volume RampOur Response
100 to 1,000 piecesStandard – no issue
1,000 to 10,000 piecesAdjust schedule – typically 1-2 weeks notice

We grow with you. Tell us your forecast – we plan capacity accordingly.

Q9: Do you offer scheduled deliveries for ongoing production?

A: Yes – we work to your schedule.

Delivery ScheduleWe Can Do

As-needed (pull system)Yes – with VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory)

Reduce your inventory holding costs with just-in-time delivery.

Q10: How do I get started with prototype-to-production service?

A: Simple process:

  1. Upload Gerber files for prototype

  2. Receive free DFM review and quote

  3. Order prototype (10-20 pieces)

  4. Test and validate your design

  5. Notify us to scale – we use same files and tooling

  6. Order production quantity (any volume)

No need to find another supplier when you scale. We are your partner from first prototype to millionth board.
